The European Central Bank has launched this week the design of the new note of 50 Euros from the Europa Series. We show you how is going to be.
Europa series
The new note of 50 Euros has a design similar to its predecessors in this series
(banknotes 5 €, 10 € and 20 €):
– Printing embossed on the side
– The silver band with holograms
– The semi-transparent window
– The amount printing with metallic emerald green ink
Validity
The new banknotes of 50 Euros will come into force in early 2017. The exact date is yet to be determined.
By the time the new series will coexist with the old that will be phased out. It is not specific date foreseen withdrawal of the previous series.
